engine won't start...NEED HELP PLEASE!!!
i took off the wire that connects to the starter from the battery. i accidently hit a metal and it sparked. now my car won't start. it cranks, but doesn't start. i changed the starter, still doesn't start. changed the distributor, still doesn't start. checked all my fuses, still doesn't start. changed my spark plugs and wires, still won't start. WHAT ELSE COULD IT BE?
??
??
Turn your key one click before the car starts to crank and listen for the fuel pump/relay to "click" and you'll hear it hum for a few seconds. The sound will come from below the rear seat cushion.

exactually WHAT metal did you come in contact with?

By checking you mean you pulled every single one out and inspected visually/used a test light on them? Or by checked everyone you mean you just looked at them and figured they were good?
Test light/meter > any amount of eye-balling you can do.

Damn... I had that happen once... Changing the starter and touched the wire to the starter case... Woops!!!
OK, your fuel pump is working...
Take one spark plug out plug it back in to the wire and somehow touch the spark plug threads to the engine block (wrap wire or something) have someone look at it while you tap the starter with your key to see of you have spark. Dont hold the plug to test... It will hurt you! hehe...
If you got spark, start checking the fuses with a multi-metre. Sometimes they dont blow black and its hard to see..
You should have continuity through all of your fuses... Of you have an Ohm metre, you will see a dead short on em... Open means its bad... Check the box under the steering wheel and the box under your hood...
Did you check relays?
