Burning out front lca bushings
Hey,
I need to burn out the two big bushings that attach to the front lca's. I'm not talking about the actual lca bushings but the bushing for the other arm that attches to the lca.
Anyway, I've been trying to burn them out with a blowtorch for 20min now and it's just charring the bushing. Before this, I tried pushing them out with all my might with a hammer, and vice but it wouldn't budge. Then I tried cutting it out slowly but that was taking forever too.
Any suggestions as to best burn this out?

question about your "blowtorch". is it an aycetaline (sp?) or a propane torch? i know someone who has very good luck just drilling the old ones out as well.

It's propane.
As far as drilling goes, did he just take appropriate sized bits and drill a bunch of holes through to loosen everything up and then pull it off piece by piece with pliers or something?
The other thing is, the metal sleeve is in there too. It refuses to come out no matter how hard I hammer it. I discovered the the bushing is practically glued to the metal sleeve.
