Where does the front tow hook mount?

Where does the front tow hook mount?

Im looking to order one, but i do not have a front bumper support, because i had to remove for IC. Now does it use that support to mount? or can i mount it elsewhere? thanks

Mine is bolted to the frame in the factory tow loop location. Sticks right out front where I can whack my shin with it.

Oh man! Funny you mention that. We've hit the tow hook so much, we designed a "nerf" cover for it.
