https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1140265
after i fill in my sidemoldings holes i plan on painting the car white again. my question is what brands of paint are out there that are really good quality. im not looking for like show quality 10,000+ but something really nice and glossy. what brands did some of you guys use for your car?

well first off...paint isn't what makes a car shine...the Clear Coat does that. But as far as good quality paint brands go - I'd say go with either PPG or Dupont. At the body shop my dad owns (and I partially work at)...we use PPG. It sprays really well and covers awesome.

I have to say that my favorite paint is R-M Diamont. It is ultra high quality and is a polyester based paint so it resists fade like no other. The down point is that it is expensive. If you want ultra glossy I use R-M DC5100 high solids clear, but my father has been using(and I am going to try it this year) Matrix MS-42 clearcoat and it looks great, affordable and is very easy to wet sand and buff out.
