i saw ones that were a disc under a clear needle. It wasn't applicable for honda's well at least not civic's cause the stock needles are opaque white, but i'd love to find ones like that for the civic.

I think that looks sweet. I wonder where you could get that done, and how much it would cost.

http://www.importcarpartsplus.com/home.html
thats where you can get them, but they are pretty expensive.
$72 plus $7 for shipping

unless you can get a better deal on ebay, this is the best price since this stuff looks to be a new thing out

I was in an RPS13 240SX fastback with red ones installed. The readability of the gauges suck *** because the owner of the car I was in put on white faced gauges (they were a sticker overlay).

You can get that crap from http://www.importintelligence.com

Looks cool at first, but then you think about how much they will hurt your eyes after awhile.

OT but, the max speed on speedometer in the 240sx's is 110mph?
Than the actual top speed would be something like 100 mph, no?

The max speed is at least 120+, 240's can peg that speedo pretty easily.

Only applicable to guages that use lexan needles. I think all civics are out of the question.

My Pathfinder has lit gauge needles but it's not that bright. Can they really be dimmed?

The speedo was in MPH, and I was in the last year of the S13 hatchbacks. I can't imagine the thing not breaking 118 though, maybe the S14 is heavier?
