Default rim certification

When you bought new rims did you get some kind of paper stating that those rims in that size are approved for the R??
I need one for my CE28Ns if it exists! I don't know what the law is in the US but here in Europe it is necessary!

I think they don't have that in USA. We don't need that either in NL.

if youre referring to the size of the rim being properly suited for the ITR:

What I would suggest is to take your stock rim, and get it measured. then take the ce28n and get it measured.

why would you need to get paper stating rims are approved?

I think she is looking for TUV certification. It's from Germany. It will be very difficult for JDM rims, if you got it directly from Japan.

I guess there will be no way to get that kind of certification.
You could try to find the offical impoter for Volk wheels in Switzerland (if there is one)
and ask him if he has some kind of certificat.

What size are the CE28N ?

I would love to see a pic of them on your R when they are mounted.

You need to approve everything you change on your Car in Germany/Switzerland.
If you dont, your car is considered illegal

Unfortunately there is no official Volk importer in Switzerland yet...
Is there one in Germany? I think the Tüv is accepted here too...

Austrian Type R was looking into the specs on the Volks a while back and needed to know the load limits of the wheels. Might want to PM him to see how he got ahold of his, he had to make sure they would fit a certain criteria before he could legally drive on them as well.
