Default Limited Slip Differential for Civic V-tec(ee9) '91

Hi guys, I have Civic ee9( 150hp, year91), and I am in hard need of an Limited Slip Differential. I was thinking of purchasing the original L.S.D from Honda that is designed for Integra Type-r(since my and integra's gearboxes have the same bolts and it might match my tranny), but I found the following differential:

does anyone have any experiance with this? What would you recommend?

Go with an LSD versus the other part The Integra R has a different size ring gear than what you have. If you do not have a YS-1 Transmission...this is not possible. You may need to go with a Quaife unit.

People will come in there and say how great a phantom grip is, i cut 2 seconds off my 60 foot time blah blah but if you want something that doesn't go crazy in the middle of a turn and push you off the road, stick with OEM or a good aftermarket LSD.

In case you can't tell, I don't like phantom grip.

Thanx guys, I actually thought it won't be any good, just wanted to make sure.

You have any idea where to get the LSD cheaper than for $1000 - Quaife, etc ?

I don't mind getting a used one....

There has been good stuff written about the OBX diff, apparently it's identical to a Quaife.

Thanx a lot guys. I almost bought that phantom thing.....

I found OBX for $400, pretty OK for me. I'll PM those 2 guys you told me about and ask them if they have the same stuff, I will always prefer to buy somethin from a hondatech member than from Ebay, like this....
