Default h22/crv frankenstein...tall tales?

Guy from work told me a dude put a frankenstein in a crx. I said, ah "LS Vtec is good" and he said "no, he used h22 head and crv bottom end" i said "hmm...!" Anyone else heard of this?
dude says the guy runs 8s...t3/t4 and nitrous.
Sounds like a good combination. Thoughts?

why not?
i think he was saying crv drivetrain too..he said "can you imagine, hp of h22 top end, plus the torque of an suv plus boost in a car that light?"
Sounds like a recipe for power to me...i thought about doing a crv swap before i heard about this, but just to be different. After some research though, i found that being different isnt always the best

*shrug*, i dont know much about this kinda stuff, i was just trying to figure out if it was possible
course i didnt really put much thought into it...now that i think about it, you're right, 2.2 head on 2.0 block is pretty stupid...but perhaps there was some frabrication involved...not like frankenstein is an entirely simple process to begin with. Overbore a 2.0 block to 2.2 is possible.

They are actually very easy... I have helped 2 of my friends build them. As far as the litres are concerned it doesn't matter. One of my friends has a 1.7 head on a 2.0 block, another has a 1.6 on a 1.8, and lastly a 1.6 on a 2.0. The reason what u asked wont work is that it is impossible to put an H series head onto a B series block.
He is most likely lying to u... I busted some kid out the other day trying to impress a girl by telling her his ZC was an H22.

tall tales can be funny when they're outrageous, but frustrating when i'm not sure about it
When i first got my sol, recently waxed, etc. I pulled into a gas station and the following ensued:
kid with an ex pulled up after i did. He was like "Damn, that's a nice car, i bet that thing's fast!" I said "no actually i think you and i have the same engine" and he said "Yea but i'm gonna drop a v8 in mine"
I couldnt think of anything to say...so i was just like "well good luck with that"

Unless he's got a Maxima with tuned NOS timing, he's not running 8's.
