Default sleeves

I've been reading on HT for hours, and everyone uses the GC sleeves. But does it really matter what brand of sleeves i use? Since i dont need the springs, i'm getting some Hypercoils anyway. What's left is just a threaded tube with 2 collars.

or is GC the only one with an adapter to fit konis?

Get the Koni's or GC's they are the only ones that fit Koni dampers correctly and are not a make shift adaptation.

so the only reason why people use GC is because they're the only ones that fit konis properly?

so IF i dont use konis, it doesnt matter which sleeve i get?

GC has very good quality and you don't have to worry about things bending or what not.

There is a thread posted by "vtecvoodoo" that shows what happens to skunk2 sleeves.

GC is also the only company im aware of that has sleeves specific for different shocks.

The sleeves and perchase aren't that expensive either from them.
