Hmmm, I have always understood that only the 90-93's are the correct width for the 88-91 Civic/CRX. Is this true?

no need to spend killer money on those axles unless your planning on going f/i....just get the 90-93 integra intermediate shaft and stick with the non abs 90-91 integra axles...works just perfect.....dont forget to take out the dust caps on the hub

Yeah I am using the 90-91 axles for now too. Until it gets turbo'ed, but that is a few months away still.

ok im gonna give you the information your looking for...
I just recently finished my swap
1st check wut type of tranny you have...y1/j1/s1/ys1
2nd check which intermediate shaft you have sk7/sh3
if you have y1 tranny and sh3 intermediate shaft you will use 89teg axle on drivers side and 90 teg axle on passenger side
if you have a sk7 intermediate shaft you will use 90 teg axles on both sides...
if you use 90 teg axles on driver side with sh3 intermediate shaft it will be too long

Why in the **** are all of you making this so goddamn difficult.

Use the proper int. shaft, 90-93 teg. Then use 90-93 integra axles, I have used 93 axles that came off on an abs car just fine, and my other car i used non-abs 90 axles. wtf.

He asked which axles were the best. Those listed above are.

It is exactly what I need to know. Thanks

You are supposed to use the intermediate shaft from which ever kind of motor it is...

im running gsr motor and tranny... used gsr IS and axles as well... this whole setup was originally in an eg...
everything fit perfect

Y1 intermediate shafts are longer than others, this is well known and easily found through searching btw. Either buy a driver side axle from Raxles that's correct for the y1 or swap out your IS for a 90+ teg piece and use the correct axle. Done.
