like the title says which of all of the 1996 and up civic 2 doors has the darkest color dash? my guess is the si, and if it is... is it the same color as ctr?

The darkest the US 2dr interior was a dark gray (like in the Si). The CTR interior is black.

 

what about ek hatches?

The US EK hatches came in the same interior color as the Si, dark gray (aka Classy Gray, Type K). I have never seen an EK hatch with anything but dark gray interior.

correct me if im wrong but most of the ek hatches come with the light gray..I have never seen another hatch that has the same color interior as mine.at least where i live..its the same color as the si... most of the hatches i've seen have light gray seats and interior.. the si has a darker gray interior..

 

i think that both have been used, the dark and light grey. i was just unsure if the dark grey found in the hatch is as dark as the si's. does any one know of a stain that can penetrate the plastic well and come out looking even? interior paint is ****, it get all flaky. it is a waste of time and your dash.

 

Most 96-98 come in dark grey... and most 99-00 come in light grey.

Dark gray in the Si and dark gray in the hatch ARE exactly the same. It is called Classy Gray. In the driver's door jamb, there is a label that will say Interior Type K. The Light Gray interior is called Charcoal Gray.

 

EKs come in dark grey or light grey only. i think it depends on what color exterior you have.
