stupid question
this is stupid but i'm asking it anyway. i'm poor as hell but wanna lower my car, and a friend of mine said he'd cut the springs about 2 inches for me. will it ride rough or **** anything up? or is this a bad idea all together?
DON'T DO IT! Not only will it **** up your struts and ride quailty but it's EXTREMELY dangerous. Yes it's a stupid idea. Just save up and buy springs.

Cutting the springs is a bad idea. If your going to do it anyways cut them with a Cutting wheel or Dremel. That will avoid heating the springs too much weaken the springs integrety even more. I also suggest that when you start cutting your springs you only move 1/4"-1/2" at a time. It may take a while, but if you were to go and cut 2" right off that bat you might pass up what your looking for (looks and comfort).
