i replaced my seatbelts with black ones(swapping the blue cx interior to black). Anyways, the seatbelts wont come unlocked. they stick out about 8 inches and thats it. is there a release button or sumthing i need to i can bolt these things back in and have them work? thanks guys

honda has a lifetime warranty on all seatbelts, take it to a dealership and let them do it for free

Probably a warranty if they aren't tampered with. When you swap out the seatbelts Im sure that voids ANY warranty you might have had on them. Just go to a junkyard and try to find working ones.

 

its weird tho because i just took them out of my opther hatch and they worked fine. soo iunno... ill try going to honda

 

yep, do that, just tell them your car came with black, dont mention that its a cx.
i kinda doubt that theyd check up on it if you told them that...

Learn something new every day. What if I cut mine and say they wouldn't release or something. Do you think they would replace them???
