Default obd2 to obd1 swap but with an automatic

I have a friend with an 00 civic coupe ex with the d16y8 and an automatic.
We're going to turbocharge it soon with a home built setup and use obd1/uberdata as engine management.

How well will obd1 work with the obd2 automatic transmission? Does the engine computer do anything to the auto trans besides lock up the tq converter?

Anyone have any insight on this?

hmmmm....i am wondering about that too.....

i just did an auto to manual swap on my 97 ex....and i did notice that the auto has an extra ecu plug......only thing i took from that plug was a few wires to wire up the reverse lights......and on one of the plugs (ecu plug a on obd2a) the pins are different for the iacv.....i think all obd1 has a 2 wire iacv, but obd2 autos has a three wire one....but thats an easy fix

ps....u know that auto trans is not going to hold up well for long with large power gains.....

Honda auto trannies can't stand a large hp gain at all. Hell just driving the **** outta them STOCK will eventually **** them up. (personal experience) You're going to need to either swap that tranny out for a manual or have a custom built auto tranny.

no lie... thats why im gunna get a manual swap, all i have done is intake but i still sometimes manual shift it to get it into 2 faster, kinda like double shift when i ram into into N then floor and pull to 2, before it gets like 6000 rpms it catches in 2nd and gives me a lil extra pull, i also downshift to 2 and took the block out the bottom so i can hold it in 1st when i want to exit a slow turn pretty quick, since it wont shift down to 1st flooring once i get over 30 mph. now im getting wierd noises and everytime it shifts by itself its like it has to run down the whole rmp range and tehn hook again. so im guessing tranny is f*cked.
