I just got a pair and I must say great product...bright as hell and the cut for the beam is crazy however I noticed when driving in rain that the inside of the headlight housing starts to fog up in some areas. Anyone else experience this? I know this obviouslkt happens because the housing isn't sealed i'm just wondering if this is only a defect that I have or a defect that all TYC headlamps have.

 

Yea tha's common with those head lights. Buy clear silicon from advanced auto and see if you can seal up around the edges. Hopefully that'll help.

Good reply man Glad to see the first post wasn't a flame..

To the Poster: Be sure that you use a light line of it just enough to cover the seal.. I say this because if for any reason you should need to open these lenses, a mess of silicone will just make things more difficult.

Also, if the seal doesn't clear it up, check for any gaps or spaces that might be present where the bulb is inserted.. This can sometimes be a problem

I personally hate them... not because people think they are rice, or anything like that. I just can't stand the look of the non-fluted lenses, not to mention the eye-sore of that much chrome on the headlights.. The black don't look much better IMO.

I would research the headlights if I were you. A lot of aftermarket headlights tend to reduce or relocate the amount of light your headlights put out.

Projector styles are the absolute worst. My brother installed a set on his 94 accord.. They pointed right to the ground.. lol Everyone I've ever talked to who wasn't brain dead complained about not being able to see well at night.. Not a good trade off for something so important.
