This is my brother's car (longbeachpurplecivic). I was on the freeway heading back home from picking up some parts for my car. There was a slow Altima on the 2nd to the left lane and i was changing lanes to the left. it was clear. then i looked again and it was still clear, enouph space to make the lanechange. as i signal and started the lane change, i was approaching the altima quickly at about 65-70ish, that car (silver grand prix) sped up and didnt let me in. i swerved back into my lane, couldnt stop in time. hit the altima. lost control, swerved to the right and hit the chevy 1500 truck almost head to the side. still had no control over the car. spun out. and then slamed into the side rail...im okay. and everyone else was too...yeah, its totalled

ouch... sucks for you...... and no that does not look like a total.... that can be repaired....

but then again... the worth of the car is probably less then the estimated repair cost....

Sorry to see that, I've had it happen to me as well. If it's totalled and you wanna sell those fogs i'll buy them

 

well, so far he needs a front and rear bumper, front fender, rear quarter panel, hood, taillight, head light, corner light and looks like he needs a rad support. i'd say it's totalled. i'd like to see how the frame rail did

heh, thats what a total is.....

Definatly a total, unless you go to some backyard shop.
I would bet that just the cost of the repairs will total it,
and then you still have the paint.

yeah it didn't cross my mind that civics are cheap these days.... till after i made the post...

 

do u have collision on your insurance policy? if u have insurance that is.
