Default do-it-yourself clear corners.. does it work??

has anyone attempted this method? or
any tips??????

ive done that like maybe 5-6 times on 96-98 civics for some friends as well as my old 96 EX...works fine, if you dont seal it right afterwards, youll get some condensation inside the lights once in a while...just take your time and be careful...

Yeah the method works, but I didn't use that monotoke silver stuff. I just heated up the silicon, pryed it open, and spray painted the amber piece.

I've done something similar, but didn't take it that far. My friend was one of the first guys in my neighborhood to buy a del sol. Being that they were new, there were no clear corners. We used a screwdriver and broke off all the amber inside. Took about 20 minutes for each one and it did the job w/o having to go all out. However, you may not have this option with the EK since it's a lil different.

What can be used to paint the chrome housing like the JDM headlights?? What color should I use to match??

so wait, you removed the amber bit and spraypainted it what colour?? u found a chrome spraypaint??

I'm wondering if I can make some rip-off Civic Type-R headlamps by making some of the casing around the lights black.. yes I know its cheese but hey, *STUDENT BUDGET!!*

also, does anyone know if this is LEGAL in Canada/Ontario??

My friend's friend has those funky purple whatever kinda of clear headlights. Do those do anything for the lightoutput? Make it look more HID like?
