Default Car trouble....check this out....

I am leaking oil thru the dizzy and apparently thru the head (possibly cracked?). It idles fine and won't rev over 1500rpms without bogging down. I am throwing NO codes and am wondering if its a compression leak. Also it is blowing smoky oil out of the exhaust....and the coolant and oil seem to not be mixing. Any ideas would be helpful. I have a new head and block (D15b7) and a new head gasket for it as well. I was just wondering if anyone had any helpful info before I plunge into this.

Cliffs: Blows oil, leaks thru dizzy (slightly), and maybe thru head (cracked?)
Idles fine but won't rev over 1500, oil and coolant seem to not mix, NO codes
PICS R UP FOR THOSE WHO ASKED....big for a reason...for the detail....:

Yeah I figured that one....but the oil that is on the tranny and UNDER the dizzy AND on the left front of the block seems to be coming from somewhere else.

left front? do you mean passenger side front? if so, it sounds like the cam seal or vtec solenoid gasket. mine was the vtec solenoid gasket.

I hate u....... ......and its "idea" not "idear".....
I can take pics tomorrow and get them up on here tomorrow night.....and prob get pics of the teardown I am doing tomorrow....depending on the weather. I am seriously thinking of throwing my D15b7 block and head I have together and mating it with the CX tranny. Do the D15B8 and D15B7 use the same computer <----- IMPORTANT ?

How would that affect the oil INSIDE the dizzy cap and the oil out the exhaust.

Because it would blow oil out the valve cover and onto the engine.

What have you done to the motor recently, and do you have any pics?

I am in the process of giving up on the cx motor....its so clogged that its disgusting....and i mean EVERYTHING....intake side, exhaust side.....and the seal on the dizzy was DEFINITELY bad.....bad that doesn't solve the idle problem. How about this = say the motor's intake mani, throttle body, and related oil and pcv hoses, combustion chamber are so clogged from lack of maintanence that it could keep the car from revving?.......although that STILL doesn't solve the burnt oil out the exhaust.

You could be blowing oil thru the breather tube from the valve head cover to the intake- your throttle may look likewise sooty. With the spark plugs looking like that they are * going to miss and kill your power. It will max out revvs because its taking longer for the ingition to charge enough voltage to bump through the oil.

Seafoam.

Your pistons...is that dirt or did the spark plug hit the piston?
First, replace the spark plugs, and clean the head. Its possibly a compression leak; did you torque the head bolts correctly and get the right head gasket? im thinkin its probably a bad gasket or the bolts werent torqued right. you may not have a code, but check your emissions if you can. maybe a leaky injector, bad pcv, cause it looks like your car was runnin WAY too rich. dont know how this would affect your 1500rpm problem or bogging. clean your TB and IACV as well, just in case. could your piston rings be shot??
