OK folks little update on my 91 civic

I got the battery charged.. I tried listening for the fuel pump.. I dunno if I am sappose to be able to hear it come on when I am inside the cab starting the car.

I also took alot at the computer codes. the red led comes on once which my handy dandy chart says it is oxygen sensor a.

however I also hear 5 beeps and a light flashes 5 times in between the spedometer. Is there any signifigance to this?

what are some things that I can try with the oxegyn sensor to see if this is the root cause of my problem??

Your oxygen sensor will have no affect on you being able to start or not start your car. The ECU doesn't look for one until the engine reaches operating temperature. If the car is not starting I.E. nothing at all happens when you turn the key?

I'm not sure how to describe what it is doing.

I hear the starter try to start the car the car shakes a bit hear and engine sound like it is trying to start or fire and then it goes.. put put... and then nothing?

it seems like it wants to go but it just doesnt seem to want to go that one last step to continue running.
