Default Use vent hose for tranny fluid change??

Just wonderin, is it safe to use that vent thing on top of your tranny with the little rubber cap to fill it up. It save me a big headache to just dump the fluid in that hole.

Go to Home Depot and get a plastic/rubber hose. Cut it to the appropriate lenght, fish it through the engine bay down to the tranny filler hole, and pour. It's very easy if you do it that way.

you can do it that way but the other way is soooooo much easier.

here is what you need.

nipple to fit that tranny fluid
hose the size of the vent tube
knife.

hook it all up, turn the bottle over and poke a hole in the bottom of the tranny fluid jug. it takes longer but it requires no removal of anything etc.
