a CRX for me..FINALLY!!!
welll as you know i have been driving
I was at the local "street races".......my buddy says there is a CRX for like 50 bux....I thought "yeah right"
He told me where to go...so i am driving down alleys with my brights on, dodgeing bumps to protect this
cursing up a storm about "man this M!@#$%^&*(ER has tricked me so he could BS me on the money he owes me..i bet he will not even be there when I get back!"...my girl convinces me to go 1 more block down the alley......and what do i see? a 1989 silver Si sitting on jacks, i talked to this old guy..i told him someone said 50 bux...and he raises his eyebrow a little....so i offer him a couple hundred....he said he would talk to the owner...i find out the water pump went out, and the head was rebuilt.....I came back in the morning. and said ..well look at the rust....and the broken engine..and the tires.....so well i am going to have to offer you 150 for it....and he says "lemme talk to the owner...150 would probably get it for you" at this point, i am thinking the owner did want 50 for it, and this old guy is trying to get money out of this...but when the heck...a 89 Si for 150........Well i tell my buddy about it, and he says...well you need some money..I can loan it to you and you pay me back whenever.................then he takes me behind the bowling alley(his parents own it) and he shows me a tow dolley, and truck.....then we walk inside and he yells at a guy...don't you have an engine hoist...the guys replies "yea, and a lift" I thought, damn.. he is going to want money...my buddy says "if he wants money, i will just take him for a ride in my car (built turbo GSR), he just wants to watch you swap the motors" later in the day the old guy calls me and says "this is a guy i don't owe any favors....how about you give him 100 for it. needlesss to say..i have title and key....we are picking it up tonight..the old guys wants it outa his backyard!!! :mrgreen: :driving: :headbang:

Megan Racing JDM 4-1 my header sits literally 2-3 inches off the ground and i banged it up already my damn *** fault for having car so low.

Its nice, I like it a lot. Now that you've got VTEC running, its EVEN better!!! I need to re-armour-all your sides again, and clean out the back still, plus vaccuum the front and middle again.
Daid, your Rex is awesome! Much better than your Hatch! :D

well here she is....has some minor issues....but they will be worked out in due time.....i got that WW mugen knock off...in urethane for 20 bux and my stock bumper...i am getting the hook up on this car like no other.!!! the SiRII intake manifold with B20 Tbody will be installed in a couple days also...
a buddy loaned me the money for the car and is letting me work on his girl'c civic to work the money off..i only paid 35 for the tow....and i am paying 15-20 to have the hatch's exhaust mated to the rex.....YAYAYAY!!!
