Default eBay Item. (Was it worth it?)

Was just going to buy a cheap/generic brand CAI system on eBay. I came across this item (#7951179199). Enter item # in search field on eBay.

Then I came across a link somewhere here on H-T to this http://www.memoryfab.com/detail/?id=306. It was the same intake I saw on eBay. It retails for $120. I thought it was a good find and was worth the money, but I dono.

Anybody have this intake system? If so, how is it? How does it compare to the J's copy intake system?

pipe+filter on ebay is 20 bucks.. and you can make your own induction box for under 20 bucks... that carbon fiber unit is open element.. basicly just sheilds some heat. I wouldn't pay for something i can make in half an hour...

I just don't know how to work with carbon fiber.

So, would you say that J's-style intake system is much better?

thats not a cold air intake anyways, its just an air intake. almost any low name brands (anything except like injen, aem, k&n, etc...) will produce around the same horse power. i wouldn't spend the extra money for the carbon box when A. you can make one like said, or B. you don't really need it anyways. your choice.

I'd just spend the extra 30 dollar and get there's J's style intake which is really nice and completely carbon fiber and pretty sexy looking.
