96-98 OBD2A
99-01 OBD2B

Either that or the other way around

Get a 96-98GSR harness or an EX harness.

Well the harness I have is a GS-R harness. My friend said he wasnt sure and it was probably a 2000 gs-r harness. Any idea on how to find out if its a obd2a or obd2b?...

Actually the reason you can't use the GS-R harness is because it is different from your stock harness. Your stock engine hanress runs all the way to the ECU, where as the GS-r's only runs to the shock tower. The only engine harness you can use so you don;'t have to deal with any wiring is a 96-98 EX harness. Or just use your stock harness and get the VTEC and IACV plugs from the GSR harness you have,

So the 96-98 EX harness is one peice from the motor all the way to the ecu unlike the GS-r which is two peice where it disconnects at the shock tower? Sorry just want to make sure because my DX didnt come with a harness and this is totally different from my old EG. Just double checking am I correct?
