if you are using the gsr spindles....you can use the 90-91 acura legend, those are just as big if not bigger, plus you will get out a little cheaper also.

the weight saved on the spoon make a huge difference in steering and handling because of the lost weight, if i remember correctly its 10-12 lbs less on each caliper

sorry but i don't think those calipers weigh that much or no where near it.i am in the process of making a set of axles and hubs for my h22 ek hatch...if i ever get time to work on it.all in all when said and done.....axles that w/stand over 500 for lets just say acouple of hundred bucks....will post pics when i get ready to put everything together.

stock ITR unit is 10.3 pounds and the spoon caliper is 5.7lbs....this is the info i have gathered!
my figure of 10-12lbs was high but 5lbs unstrung weight is a good improvment!

your not gonna be able to tell a difference.i think it is.for every 100 lbs,you gain a tenth.....so taking off 10 lbs dead weight ain't gonna help much, now if you took that off rotational mas....that is a whole nother ball game....now i will believe 5lbs per,but not 10.and that is why they are so dam high....they are made out of aluminum and 2-4-6 piston caliper.but for the money i still say go with 90-91 legend....those other yrs may work...but i know for a fact the 90-91 legends do.

yes for every 100lbs is roughly a tenth in hte 1/4.....but i am no getting these to save weight at the drag strip...if so i wouldnt have dropped my 5 lug set up which is 43lbs heavier then my 4x114 set up (weight is without wheels)yes i see your point in the $

i was in autozone looking up the same thing. they list having the nsx calipers, like 51.99 each side + 75 core. when i tried to order they were outta stock. i dont know if they were oem's, but its worth checking out. i know you wont find any on here that cheap.

yea i looked into that myself....they had two different brands...but they aint OEMs they are replacements...thing is if they notice the caliper you bring in is different from that one since 1 piston 2 piston you know!
I've already asked autozone about trading in another caliper.... they will not give you credit unless you bring in a matching caliper. (so if you buy an NSX caliper, to get the credit you need to give them an NSX caliper)
But yea, they're always out of stock. I guess NSX owners never get their brakes fixed at Autozone

i turned in my old rear dc4 calipers as the core on my itr front calipers.
gotta just find the right guy to bring the calipers to i guess, or girl for that matter.
