Default USDM tranny on JDM motor

Hello everyone, I have done a search for this and haven't found any matches (except the GSR gear question) so please don't flame me. Are the JDM B18B motor and the USDM B18B tranny interchangable? I am looking to swap in the LS motor but everyone that is selling them doesn't have the tranny to go along with. I don't want to use the SI tranny because I plan to turbo and I want the long gears of the LS tranny. Better yet is the USDM B18B able to handle boost like the JDM version. I'm not too familiar with this engine because I have researched the B16a and B18c until now. Any info you guys can offer is appreciated.

The USDM tranny should bolt up to the JDM motor. It should be like any other B-series motor and tranny. As far handling boost, I don't think there is a difference between the motors. As long as it is tuned right (fuel and ignition), either motor should be able to handle boost equally.
