sooo i got into a little accident and my CF hood is now bent. is there any way i can have someone turn it into something else? like maybe something on my dash. there is a good section that is still flat. has anybody ever made anything out of a hood? and if so what? ps i have an integra if that matters. if not ill just throw it away.
(dont feel bad for my car though, a jdm front end is being installed right now)

 

You can cut pieces out of it to make block off plates, gauge holders, switch panels, etc. I wouldn't throw it away.

 

Too bad Martha Stewart is in prision, I'd love to see what she could do with some CF!

Hooray for JDM fronts! Yeah save your hood. Make sure to post pics of your car when it's done. Also with you standing next to it.

 

i remember when i got in accident the carbon fiber hood was the only thing that wasnt even scratched!

 

same thing happened to my friends civic, used it for a **** load of things. def worth keeping.

i have a broken DC C/F hood that i've used for tons of stuff-a sunroof filler,airbag blockoff tray,gauge mounting plate,etc.get out the Dremel and go to work.
