Pic's of the new Track Car. (600hp)
Finnaly got the cobra tuned the way that I want. Able to push all the way up to 11lbs on the motor but have backed it off to 9lb's. on full boost. With the boost numbers as they are and the jetting and other special bits I am looking at ~600hp at the crank wrapped in a 2200lb frame. Just got to get something bigger then a 345 on the rear and off to the track we go and see what she will put down.
Its a domestic I know but heck its a lot of fun to drive, if racelegal ever opens up again i will take it down but I have a feeling I am going to get kicked for safety on the first run so it better be a good one. Its setup for open track right now but it's street legal so I am going to have some fun for a little while before it goes back into the garage for some more suspension work.

Shoot'n for 10's on street tires and without the juice. The motor can take ~150hp of nitro on top of the full boost so maybe just maybe low 10's with that installed. Biggest problem is getting it to go in a straight line. 90 inch wheelbase realy sucks.
The drivetrain had a blown/nos 454 in it before so it is real stout but it was a heavy monster back then from what I have heard. Also I have been playing with the gear ratios with the quickchange and might just set it up so you never get out of 3rd in the quarter.
