i need to know whats the cheapest mounts i can get to do an h22 swap into a 2000 coupe? what are the different kinds or companies? please list websites? what else would i need for the swap? i have a complete long block but have an auto harness.. does it make a diff from auto harness and manual harness? what shift linkage? what axles if i wanna keep 4x100? any info will help thanks

Go hasport or go home. Seriously you get what you pay for. Ive had Enjo which my only complaints were that their bushing sucked, so I bought hcp which had good bushings but the the rear mount sat about 1" to far forward so I decided to put the hcp bushing in the enjo mounts. If I would have done it right the first time I could of bought hasport and been happy, I had to waste my money on shitty bushings and then a crappy rear mount.

You want to cheap out on your mounts? Don't do this swap. Your car is gonna get fucked up. The motor mounts are one of the LAST things you want to be stingy about on price. HASport make good mounts.

Yes it does matter what harness you have. You will need to cut and repin some things.

Try searching this has been covered many times. And don't just search recent eg+ threads. Search archived and recent threads in BOTH eg+ and the hybrid forum.

 

can i use my stock dx harness and just run v tec through a switch? its a 96 or 97 prelude i think. also are the other mounts that much worse than hasport?what other brands are there so i can compare? where can i get hasport mounts cheap besides hasport.com. what linkage do i use? aftermarket or is there a stock one?

i would recommend getting vtec hooked up through the OEM way... run it through the harnness and not thoruhg a switch. ive seen ENJO make some good mounts for this specific swap

 

anyone have a specific link to a thread that can tell me everything i need to get and do for this swap? i've searched, but theres just so many and i havent found one that tells me everything.
