A lot of people use the PG7. Some notice a difference and others don't. I'd PM some members and ask around. You can always try the zc resource online as well. PG7 and PM6 are the most commonly used.

What about the tranny? Can I use an
LS tranny for the Zc.

No a bseries LS trans will not bolt to the d series(zc) block. You need to use a cable d series trans

im using a 88 si ecu and it sux, its alot better than the heartbreaking hf ecu i had. The ecu only allows me to goto 6500rpm's. Im gonna order a zc ecu asap when i can get some cash. The tranny i would go si from a 88-91 civic/crx si

Does that si ecu only let u redline to 6500?
or the HF one...Cause mine is at 5500 and was
planning to get a pm6 to redline higher

the hf ecu would only let me hit 5000 and the si 6500. I think u could go ahead and run the pg7 no probs.

ur right, my ecu is from a hf and i had it sent to california to be tuned to si- its now at 6500- but i suggest getting an ignition system so u can kick in vtec at a lower rpm.. i have a msd with a 4400 pill and u would be surprised at the difference it makes to run vtec for over 2000 rpm

the pg7( 88-89 integra ecu) has a different fuel map than the pm6. You will end up running a little rich with the pg7, but your redline would be @ 7200rpm. The extra 600 rpm def. makes a difference. The pm7 is the perfect ECU for the dohc ZC but has a speed governor of @112mph( like anyone here drives that fast).

True.

Some people bitch about a speed governor of 112mph...but honestly, we drive honda civics...who cares? let the supra guys worry about speed governors...that's what i say.
