Default JDM vs. WW vs. USDM

Car is a 1991. Was originally wanting to go with the WW body kit (12pc kit). However, after a nice little run-in with...well a mountain...I think I'm changin' my mind. Cuz I do mountain runs, plan to race, and it will be a daily driver done in SLIGHTLY darker than SI blue with pearl overcoat with solid black on black on black interior. Today when I went on a mountain run through the N. Ga. Mountains, my rear end came out from behind in a turn and I slid into the mountainside sideways (my brakes overheated and my arm got caught on my leg to correct the drift) and I'm thinkin' 600$ on a body kit and paying 200 (+/-) per time I hit a rock in the road just isn't worth it. So I was debating keeping stock until I went ot passwordjdm.com and saw their conversion kit and now I'm debating on it. IF I go with JDM, please notify me of/if there's a cheaper source for the conversion etc etc. Thanks.

before readingthe whole post...my thoughts were - no questions asked...looks wise I think the jdm front end is sexy. you need function and practicality etc.. I think the stock usdm front bumper would be the best bet

Didnt know that wings west made a 12 piece kit.

USDM. Easy to replace parts.
JDM . if you want the looks, hard to find parts when you need them. Situation im stuck in now.

Get another USDM front end, I say. It will be more cost effective. Unless you can afford to get a good Japanese market one.

Doin' some shoppin' around, but I mean, I'm not really so much wanting it "Mint JDM" or anything, but I do prefer that style. I'm willing to put forth the money so long as it's not gonna easily bust. How tough are these parts? Is it the same materials as USDM, just different style? The only things I can think that might need replacing to be a pain in the *** are those bumper lights. Unless of course I REALLY **** it up...

I remember when my car was stolen, they stole my bumper lenses and hood from my JDM front end. It took a couple weeks searching and I found only one place a new set of bumper lenses. Ended up costing me $100 for the pair.
Sold my car after that, the new owner broke a lense while parking his car in the garage. Now he's trying to get me to find him a new set for free...

Not for free. But PasswordJDM.com has some stuff. Plus, do a JDM search on yahoo. Wish him the best, LoL. Actually, here in atlanta there's a shop called NAD (nadauto.com if I remember right) that goes to japan themselves and ships things to their shop here to sell in america. Good luck.

I'll call a few places, but there definately isn't a cent coming out from my pocket. PasswordJDM doesn't guarantee their items in stock and the didn't have this particular and they kept telling me what most other importers told me... They wont part pieces of the front ends and finding individual pieces like this are hard to come by.

Why would you use anything besides stock?? IMO on a "race" car is stupid waste of money.

Here is a link to the forum of Rear Interior JDM Conversions for the Honda Civic Hatchbacks of Canada and USA.
Quadrophonic speakers made by Gathers and Honda Access of Japan for the rear passengers. Pictures of my car and research along with the project.

Uh, someone ban this troll, he posts this in tons of threads.

Anyways, so you are "drifting" your EF in the mountains? Well, don't put any money into it because you're bound to wreck it sooner or later.
