88DXCRX...Need more ECU help.. Or anyone else..

Is there a way to identify an ecu if it is
a manual or an auto ecu just with the
serial number? Reply back thanks

another question. Will the pm6 give more power instead of
the pm8? Thanks

pm6 is from a si with the rev limit at 6.8 i think? pm8 is your dx one? pm6 will not give you more power
