Best thing to do is go down there, and retrieve all your personal property. Because it's USUALLY THE TOW YARDS that help themselves to your ****. They also cannot stop you from getting personal belongings out of cars because they cannot give you a garauntee generally that your stuff will be safe.

Best thing to do is call the yard and ask them about the rates. Also, ask them if they have insurance incase someone does help themselves. Chances are, it's going to be more than $500.00 and less than $1,000.00 for your 30 days. Don't forget the hook up and tow fee so there is another $100 to $150. But, the bill will keep adding up until you pay the total in full.

Your story sounds odd....*stank eye look*

Aloha,
Brandon

Call the DMV or police impound lot and ask them.
There will most likely be an initial tow charge, a daily charge and a paperwork charge.
Could be about $1K @ 30$ a day.

maybe now you will learn street racing is for those **** who have Type R civics and Type R accords and Type R ford.. and Type R sentras and Type R corrolas ..

the bottom line is .. learn to drive you car at a real track then maybe you will have some appreciation for your R and what it can do.

If you were at any street races the thieves are aware of where your car is sitting....

Yep its true, your car is gonna get rapped and never forgive you. Know joking though, I have seen the **** that goes down in an inpound lot. People cut mufflers off, steel anything they can and you can't do nothing. Sucks.

i would go down and talk to the tow yard personaly, that way if they say"ohh sure we have insurance, dont worry" you need to get that in writing

you should also take photos of the car as it sits right now in the yard, and if they do not have insurance AND a decent gated yard if they are not willing to put it inside you should go to he police station or court whatever

that car is going to be toast if you dont do something

Didn't you like just get this car?

Good luck, I know when my PY was at the dealer for insurance adjuster appraisal it got raped inside their supposedly "secure" lot with cameras and motion detectors.

I promised my Mommy I'd only play with one "street racer" per day. You're #2.

had that happen to me once, (back in my h/s years). i went to court, with proof that integras are not safe, in tow yards, and that the yard would not guarantee my car's safety. i was able to get the car out within a couple of days, but i still had to pay the storage fee for 30days. i agreed to this cause i just waned the car back in one piece.
so be prepare to paythe full 30days. for me it was $1500 (10years ago)
