Ok, so Im almost done my swap. 99 dx motor into 91 sedan(automatic)

however my vac lines arent done right(i dont think they are).
any help?



I also have 2 nipple thingys off the throttle ..wondering what I do with the bottom one


also Ive got 2 vac lines coming from this part on the fire wal. not sure what to do with both.


car was throwing some codes(naturally)...yes it did start and run (although pretty rich and roughy..idle probs sometimes too)

code 5, 14,19 and 20..it also blinked 11 times between 5 and 14.. i swear it was 11. but theres no code 11..hrmmm

first off, switch the 2 hoses with #21 on them - the one from the top of the throttle body closest to front of car goes to the MAP sensor, which is on the far left in the bottom picture - the other one goes from the dashpot to the bottom of the purge cut-off solenoid which is just to the right of the MAP - switch them at the engine side - the one on the MAP has a tee on it with a short hose with cap

did you mean top? I still cant figure this out. I looked up various diagrams on here and I still dont get it... cars where there was the purge and dashpot side by side used the intake mani with the "double nipples" lik ein the second pic but cars that only had the purge(or dash pot..not sure what it is) like my car has used the intake mani with only the single nipple coming off and a fast idle valve.

how can I make this work?

edit: I have the map line right.i figure teh purge just needs to be tapped into a vac source on the mani..but then i still have that damn open nipple over the throttle lever
