ok, i cant ge the rex to start and its driving me crazy. crazy enough to get out of the car seen and get a streetbike
heres the story. i was running a zc turbo setup and wanted something more reliable so got rid of it all and went with a simple mini me setup. a6block with z6 head. i got a brand new dizzy and modified it so it would fit on the z6 head. im using a 12lb. act flywheel which i was using on the zc. while the motor was out i hid all the wires and put the fusebox under the dash too. so i get it all back in and it wont even crank. checked all my fuses, main relay, and all wiring and theres nothing wrong. so i double and triple check my grounds and i cant find a problem. i need some major help or ill be getting rid of everything probally becaue of a minor issue. what do u think is the problem if it doesnt even crank, the alternator, dizzy, or starter? thanks

Test the Starter, take it to Autozone.
Or bypass the switch and hook it striaght to the start to see if the starter works.
If works, check ignitions, etc.
If not work it's the starter.
just start from the beginning and work your way.

Make sure you have good enough grounds from the motor to the car frame
make sure you have the valve cover ground, thermostat ground, starter ground, and a few more just for good measure

The car will crank even if the main relay is bad, so its safe to say its not the relay. Process of eliminations.
Starter signal
Check fuses again
Check rear transmission ground
Check all wiring again.
Have a knowledgalbe friend look it over because sometimes other people will spot things that you overlook.

If your car sat around for a while, esp in warmer climate.. the heat will melt the chip welds on the main rely. Went through the same thing before i figured this out. If this turns out being the case, the main rely is also something you can trouble shoot your self if your handy with a weld gun..
