will 90-91 CRX si rims clear EX 10.2" brakes?
i searched and did indeed find many topics on this but the answers are inconsistent. its 50/50. some people say yes, some people say no. i need a definite answer here. will the 10.2" brakes Civic EX brakes clear 90-91 CRX Si 14" alloy rims?

The person I got the car from allready had done it, so I wasn't complaining. Whatever works. Either way you do it, doesn't really matter, as long as the wheel spins...

i've got crx si wheels on my EF sedan EX. I used a spacer (eventhought I hear it's not safe) in order for it to clear. so far, no bearing problems. we'll see though.
i would grind the caliper. in my opinion, it's easier.

Did this swap 2 days ago. Found out the hard way, as my car turned into a mobile lathe during the test drive. Modification is necessary, but it's not a huge mod. From what I can tell, only the raised sections on the back of the rims need to be ground down flush with the rest of the back of the rim. You could also grind the calipers...not sure how safe that is though.
