Default Remove rear seat, 2001 Accord

Would it be possible to remove the rear seat to travel with two large dogs in the back? I don't know what might be under the seats that might be disturbed/broken by dogs. Also would there be any dangerous protrusions that would endanger dogs in travel?

Thanks much!

Linda

in the back meaning in the back/rear seat or in the trunk?

you could take out the backseat in half an hour of work, but after that you have some metal surface there. (which your trunk would exposed through the rear seat

i would getting a thick towel or a carco mat to wrap around the rear seats.. there about 2 or 3 wires under the rear seat..

or i guess you can remove the bottom cushion and fold the rear seat down so it drops lower.. this way your dogs have access to the trunk too

Thanks for your replies. I wanted to take out the back and seat portion of the rear seat. Doesn't matter if trunk exposed. My only concern is the dogs damaging wiring or something that might be exposed.
