yo my boy has a nice *** 1989 accord. the only thing is he needs a strut bar but we are like unable to find one. i was wondering will a 1990 fit on his car??

 

A 1990 will not fit the '89s, they are totally different chassis'. Parts for the 3rd generation accords are extremely rare, and it would probably be more beneficial to fabricate the part yourself.

 

Yes you need 2 pieces that have holes drilled to mount to the strut bolts, then a bar welded to them to provide the rigidity. Then if you want, a real good bar has two bars that have a plate taht mounts to the firewall, making some sort of triangle shaped strut bar. This makes it extra stiff. I'd suggest having it made out of aluminum to save weight.

Does he already have a B series in? If not i'd wait until he swaps one in to make sure the bar will fit over it...
