I'm stuck between swapping a motor into my crx. I got the right axle out of the brakes part and then i was able to pull out the right axle from the tranny, but the freaking left axle won't even budge off of the brakes. I tried lubbing it, took a 5 lbs slug hammer and wacked the **** out of it. At this point i am freaking pissed. HAHA. I would of thought i could of got this swap done within a day. Is there any other way to make the left axle budge itself off where it connes to the brakes underneath!?

Try soaking the axle spline area with some PB Blaster or WD40. With the axle nut off, it really shouldn't be that hard to get out of the hub.

 

I tried Wd40 and lubbing it. STill won't budge. Hammer it some more. No results. Is this **** stuck for life!? How come the right axle came off like nothing!! Didn't expect this for a first swap. Thinking about giving up. . . MORE ADVICES would helP!!!!!

 

Ive run into similar problem before , and had to use this giant slide hammer to take out the axles.

 

try a baby sluge hammer have a friend hold the hub and make sure you poped it out of the tranny already. Rob
