Daytona 24 ... LIVE now on SpeedTV
Yep, also watching the TV coverage. I'll be back at the track later today. My fiancee did the foot race at the track this morning. I'll see if she has any info on the track conditions.

I'm guessing that her observation of "littered with people" will be a bit less relevant now that the cars are on track.

It's nice to see that they are trying their hand at this. Still it's ironic that the Nextel cup champion spun out turning left.
Tony Stewart on the other hand is always impressive. But the way he is pushing the car at the moment I would not be surprised at all if they won't make the 24 hrs. We’ll see!
Looks like this year's field is very large.
This new two class formula seems to be working. And it's real cool to see Paul Newman still doing this! Great guy.

Anyone have a photo of this? I was driving back from VA Beach and missed it.

I have mastered changing the channel during the Vermont Teddy Bear commercial, which is significant in that Adam Carolla redefines the term "phoning it in."
Tony Stewart ownz j00.
He is the AJ Foyt of our time. Can drive the wheels off of anything with 4 of them, doesn't care about anything but racing, and is kind of an *******.

Exactly the kind of driver I'd want in my car if I was a team owner.

Heh, I think it is supposed to sound like it is coming from a radio. Anyway, who wears only an undershirt when working in a cubicle anyway?

Hey, I thought the same thing. I was at the track until about 5:00 this morning, came home and slept for a few, and watched the end on TV. Good race. Anyone catch Jamie McMurray's comments about Daytona and Talladega? He said NASCAR should make those road course events. Not bad for a guy who doesn't have much road race experience.

Great guy for sure, even though he almost ran over me in the garage area with his golf cart.
It was definitely an awesome time there, and getting to see the finish from Pit Row was kickass!!!
