no, theres no MAF sensor on the intake pipes.. but what are you going to do about the two other hoses that plug into the intake hose? the breather hose and that other one.. i forgot what it does. lol

oh yeah, and WHY do you want to put this right on to the manifold?

i am going to put two little filters. One goes on the head, and the other goes on the lower block. So there are no elecctronic sensors? its because the car is not with me so i dont know what sensors or any other information about the pipe

I assume you mean you want to run this directly off your throttle body, not manifold. Any particular reason why? Your low end will completely suck.

EDIT - if you want to do it because of sound, obviously you don't give a **** about performance, so go for it.

oh are you serious? i dont know, its cause i dont want to spend a lot of money on this car. I should get a cheap brandless pipe on ebay cause a pipe is a pipe. Doesnt have to be a $300 V2 AEM lol

Just get an Ebay intake. $25 and like $20 to ship. putting it right to your manifold is extremly loud, and ya, like everyone said, your low end will sucks. your better off duct taping your ebay filter to the end of the stock piping...... but thats pretty dumb too.

dont duct tape it but put it on there with a clamp.. if you want the BLING noise.. and still have some reliability left in your poor integra..

i think i am just going to get this intake, because i would not want to duct tape it or connect a filter to my stock intake. My integra is really clean, its just i dont see a point in getting a $300 AEM intake when this one serves the same purpose. My only problem is, I want to put a little filter(breather) right on my valve cover, and i was reading the article, and it amkes sense why the breather is bad. BUT maybe i should put one on, what do you guys think.

if you go with a ebay pipe id really suggest upgrading the filter. I pretty much but a short ram of ebay like you want to do and got a aem filter on it. seems to works great.

You can get an AEM shortie for $65. CARB legal, bling looks, good filter, no chance of hydrolock, sound cool, 2 stickers, and a liscense plate frame. What more could a guy want?

You've gotta be retarded. Why are you going to ask if you are going to do it anyway? You know its bad but you want it whatever. Do as you wish

to some people, the coolness factor is more important then the health of your engine.

The only thing that matters is the filter. Get generic piping and a K&N and you will be fine.

However, you shouldnt mod your car if your not willing to put quality parts on it. The intake is fine to go cheap, but dont get any cheap parts that really count or you will hurt in the long run. (i.e. Turbo parts, header, exhaust, cams, etc)
