Default Stewart Warner Guages - Which is more accurate and better? Mechanical or Electric?

Thinking of picking up some stewart warner guages. What is better and more accurate to have? Electronic or Mechanical?

By the way, how useful is oil temperature?

mech is usually more accurate; unless you have one of those wide range electronic ones.
