Ran out of lateral adjustment on my bike retro because my projector is too big; I will be moving to a smaller bosch unit. I have rode for the last 1000 miles or so with this setup and it works great. 1 flaw and 1 modification: the tabs on the ignitor are broken off but it performs fine. On the projector, i removed the plug for the solenoid as it was hitting my headlight housing and hardwired 2 wires directly to the solenoid. Again, works perfectly. I don't have a pic of the ballast but it looks like any other hella gen4 ballast. Prefer pick-up ; I am in San Diego. $200obo for everything.

the solenoid on the projector and where you connected it on your bike (to engage the shutter)

solenoid wires are soldered into the highbeam headlight harness. when you turn on the highbeam, my halogen high comes on as well as the shutter opening. i can take pictures of where i tapped into the harness when i get home but you may be SOL on the projector wiring; its still in my headlight housing until its sold.

 

pics are a bit blurry becuase canon elphs suck at close ups (as well as pictures being taken thru a headlight lens). i also have a short movie of the solenoid opening and closing.
