The JDM Gsr has 180hp the USDM 170hp is there a noticable speed advantage?

not really.. 10 HP is like a header mod, do you notice a friends similiarly equipped car, but with a header, pull harder?

AAaaaahhH!! yes!

Do your homework!!! Personally I dont think the JDM motor is worth all the hassle....when A US motor can be brought up to "JDM" standarsd so easily and inexpensivly.

just make sure you get it from a reputable company, a friend of mine got a B18C and his tranny is all f'ed up, he has litterally no third gear and the guy who sent it to him wont replace it, so he has to buy another tranny

I have a JDM GSR motor in my integra after the first one went. The hp difference is actually 177hp vs 170hp. The main difference is that the JDM motor has a 10.6 compression ratio vs the 10.0:1 in the North American model. If you plan on modding with cams then go for it as you will make more power compared to the domestic motor.
