Default how much worse is ebay strut/tie bars compared to most major brands?

I see alot of sets of strut bars on ebay goin for under 100$ shipped, the thing I want to know is, how much worse are they they lets say a skunk2 or DC or cusco...each brand is within 20$ of each other for each bar. So lets figure a round figure of 550-600$ shipped for a full set of 4 (upper and lower tie/sturt tower) bars. I know most engine and power making components there wouldent be a question, but I dont know if I can justify an extra 500$ for strut bars that have questionable differences...and if they do, how much do you possibly think they stiffen more than the ebay brands? Does anyone know of any technical comparisons? or does anyone have any experience with the same question? Any help would be good. Thanks.

Difference would be very minimal i imagine. I have the ebay rear upper strut bar on my DA and it really did make a big difference. Only thing I had to do was buy different bolts/nuts for the end mounts from Home Depot, the ones the ebay one comes with are crap. Other then that it works great. I cant imagine a name brand bar would make that much of a difference to fork out a few hundred more. Be careful though, i bought the set that has the front, rear, and rear lower tie bar. The rear ones fit, but the front one hit the cold start valve or whatever it is on my intake manifold, thats connected to the throttle pulley, so i bought a used Neuspeed front bar instead.

Anyways, theyre worth the money IMO, i dont regret buying Ebay bars

At the end of the day they're all bars that tie one side of the car to the other, i too have bought ebay bars in the past and found them to be every bit as good as the spoon bar i have now...especially the mugen knockoff bar, which is strong and pretty well built....a bar is a bar is a bar...i just wish someone would start making spoon/vision knock off bars!
