im selling my R6. this is my 2nd bike and i bought this late last year and was intending to do some track racing this year. But as always, plans changed and im selling it.


99 R6
14k hwy miles
red/white
mint condition, never been dropped or stunt and NOT A SINGLE SCRATCH.
its got a Euro Undertail and Clear Double bubble.
it has a brand new tires in the rear also.
all maintenance has been done, such as spark plugs and carb cleaned by previous owner. Also, uses synthetic oil only.
i bought this from an older guy (in his mid 30s----at least he looks like it lol)

as far as price, i bought it last year for $4200 + added $150 for the undertail. i just wanna some of my money back..


and want to sell it for $4100 FIRM and i have the title in hand.

nice bike man. real clean.

that price is a bit on the high side though; considering that it is a 99 with 14k mi. just my opinion. still a hell of a nice bike.

Actually the price isn't bad considering the kbb.com value is around $4600 and normal mileage according to kbb for that year is 22k mi.

Have you bought a bike yet?

that's trade in.
price seems fair to me. 4,600 is retail from a dealer. bike looks damn near mint to me, i'd take that off his hands for his asking price if i had the cash.
i'll never understand the logic of this board... 14k miles is high on a 6 year old bike? that's only a bit over 2k miles a year. whenever i hear people say crap like that, i assume they only ride to tell people, "yeah... i ride a motorcycle" and only ride on the weekends to the local coffee shop.

 

i've got 3750 miles on my bike on the new 954 since march 11th........ and its been avg of about 40 degrees here....... i cant stop riding it though...... to work, from work, to school from school, parents house, BIKE WEEK (trailered it down, 1000 miles while we were there..)
