i got a crx si steering wheel to day, to put on my 89 civic stad hatch, but it doesnt work right, i took off my old wheel (grant) took off the hub, and the 19mm nut, there is something blocking it from going on all the way, can figure how to get it off, its about

4inch x 4inch circle metal thing / looks like a plus sign like this + but bigger.

need some good help or anything please, i feel like a moron, but im not good with interoir stuff

how show i got about doing that? looks like its on there pretty tight?

i figure it out, the moron before me had welded it on or something, it was the old school hub from the grant wheel , whats a douche
