Compression question, which will be better for my set up???
ok, here is the senario. I have a h22 eg civic hatch. the plan is to go all motor and my goal is right arround 250-300WHP. I thought i was set with 13:1 but being that i want to keep the car somewhat streetable ( meaning id like to be able to take the car out on the weekends) the octane issue was brought up. So here is the set up:
H22 head, ported & polished, crower stage 3 cams, portflow springs and titanium retainers, competition 3 agle valve job, .5mm oversized SuperTech stainless steel nitride coated valves.
Prospeed header

So now with that said, what compression would best suit my set up with my goals in mind? I was between 12.5:1 or 13:1.......
any help is appriciated!!!
