Default Question about tires and rotors

Well, my dad said that I needed new tires. So I was wondering what kind to get? I made an account over at tirerack.com. I will be replacing my steelies which are 14s. I wont be able to afford rims anytime soon, and since I need new tires now, I decided to just suck it up and buy some for my steelies. Now my breaks have been squeaking embarrassingly, so my friend said u might as well just buy some new rotors and pads. But he said all I really needed was to replace the front brakes, and not the rear. Or should I just replace front and back? My car just recently hit 130,000 miles.

Rear brakes only do around 10% of the braking on a FWD car, so they last longer than front brakes.
If they're low, replace them, if not don't worry about it.

Just get some cheapo tires until you can get better wheels and then just get replacement pads. You won't notice increased braking from bling rotors and they don't sound like they're bad right now.
