1992 Honda Civic Si Hatchback - $2000 OBO

This car used to provide a fitting home to my JDM 97SpecR stuff but an accident in Nov. of '99 took it off of the road. Rather than spend the money to repair the car I decided to invest in a lighter chassis and the Si has been sitting ever since. All the ITR parts have been installed onto my CX and the Si now has CX-spec power, interior, suspension and brakes. I do have the Si rear trailing arms w/ calipers and all that will go with the Si if you wish. BTW, the car is located on the Eastern Shore of MD.
Most of the damage to the car is located in the front:
But there are a few other areas that have minor to medium dings and dents. This directory is full of pictures of the car:
http://www.hondatwincam.com/garagesale/lg-pics/civicsi/
The Imoto CF hood that's shown in the picture goes with the car as does a red OEM hood in good condition.
I know this car is gonna require time, money and patience to rebuild but it's a very good, cheap platform to start a project with. Anyone interested in the car can contact me via email: jesse@hondatwincam.com

$2000 maybe be too much, but if you notice there are three letters after it in the description - OBO, that invite offers of less money.
Sorry, I didn't mean to sound like an ***, I'm just not set on the $2K and I thought "$2000 - OBO" would let people know that. Anyways, no reasonable offer will be refused. Email me (jesse@hondatwincam.com).
i-'ll give you $500. you could take the motor out if you want. give me a call if your interested (973) 296-5805 - Wallace

It really isn't in very good condition I understand you need the money but man it really needs work, I am always looking for good shells to build drag cars so if no one offers you higher I will give you $750 and I will come and get it.

1992 Civic CX in excellent shape: $3,340
1992 Civic CX in fair shape: $2,550
1992 Civic Si in excellent shape: $4,565
1992 Civic Si in fair shape: $3,625
BTW, I did both the CX and the Si because, basically, the only thing that makes this car an Si is the sunroof and the rear discs. There's no PS, no AC, no Si interior and no D16Z6.
yea what EXACTLY aside from a set of teg rear seats (which a toe up front bumper is lying on) are you gonna get from this car?
1) those are the CX rear seats
2) a potent daily driver could be had from this car
i was interested, especially in an si. i thought to myself it can't be that bad, then the pictures.
i think you'd be lucky to get rid of it for $500. i know eg's are always in demand but the car is in bad shape. almost every panel has a dent or what not in it. and the damage to the rear left quarter panel. the carbon fiber hood is also cracked right near the driver side window in your second to last pic.
if you had all the parts that needed to be replaced but not installed that would be one thing, but the car is just hurting.
at least put some of the interior parts back in to try to make it look like a car and get some $50 cx seats in there.

you will NOT find a 5th gen SI for under 4-5K minimum. the car has a clean title and is easily rebuildable and sold for 5k with stock parts. $2k is more than reasonable. I have bought and sold more 5th gen civics in the past year then most of you will own in a lifetime...and am pretty confident that I know the eastcoast market inside and out....
and by the way, as far as I know this here BB only has ONE rule: its "don't flame posters for their prices" thats it...one simple rule. if you think its too high and you want to buy it make a reasonable offer. if you think its too high and you don't want to buy it find something else to occupy your time and stop wasting eveyone elses....its pretty simple.

You know what's really hurting? All these whiny-*** posts about my poor Si.

I'm hesitant to part it out because it's worth more with an interior than w/o. If the interior isn't important to the new owner, I'll be sure to let you know.
Thanks for the interest though.
