Difficult Cold Start...

Here is the deal. I have an 89 CRX Si (stock w/ 175,000 miles). For the last few months I've had poor starts when the motor is not already warmed up. The motor cranks for 3+ seconds befor firing up. Once it starts, it stumbles for a moment, and then the revs jump up to the regular 1800+ for warm up. I've also noticed that when I blip the throttle after starting the revs somtimes actually drop when the pedal is pressed (WTF?). This makes the car very hard to get moving from a stop because if feels like it wants to die when I let the clutch out at anything less than 2000 rpm. Also the car feels like its down on power below 3000 rpm.
Here is what I've already done:
Cycled fuel pump before start (sometimes twice)
Oil Change
Crapy Fram Filter
New Cap
New Rotor
New Plug Wires
New Plugs
New Fuel Filter
Set Ignition timing
Tried Sea Foam
Fully charged Battery
Crappy Checker Auto Parts Alternator (2 yrs old)
All that with no significant change. Any help would be greatly appreciated...
PS.. I live in Las Vegas, so the coldest it gets is 30 degrees.

Do you wait for the check engine light to go off? I know it sounds stupid but my wife's car if you don't let the fuel pump prime it will crank but not start. Just turn to acces and wait till engine light goes off them try to start it...its worth a shot.

Yes I do. And as I mentioned above, I sometimes try that twice, and it always starts the same.

I have checked the restance of the Coolant sensor across the range of temperatrues, and it is right on target. The sensor is also receiving the proper 5.5 volts from the ECU.
Does anybody else have any insight into this problem?

Checked for proper operation of the "coolant temperature sensor"

Check the actual fuel pressure when it does this. Put a fuel pressure gauge on it and see what it does when you start it up cold. If the pressure is low it could be a faulty regulator or fuel pump.

I'm assuming there are no check engine lights as you didn't mention any...correct?</TD></TR></TABLE>
No check engine light.
It drives fine when warm, but sometimes feels like its hesitating between 2000-3000 rpm (sudden slight loss of power after I shift). It doesn't do that everytime, but it does it quite a bit. If feels like i lightly lifted off the throttle right after i've up-shifted (let the clutch out completely), and then put it back down again (even though I do not).
